From the streets of Delhi to the revered temples of Agra and Jaipur, northern India is a fascinating blend of stunning landmarks, cultural traditions and incredible landscapes. Without a doubt, one of the highlights of the region is a trip to Ranthambore National Park which presents a fantastic opportunity to go on safari in the hope of spotting one of the iconic symbols of India, the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger.
Depart London Heathrow on Jet Airways to Delhi.
Arrive in Delhi at midday and transfer to Oodles Hotel for your first 2 nights in India.
After an early morning bike ride through the bustling and charming labyrinthine back lanes of Old Delhi, you’ll be treated to a sightseeing tour of the city including all of the highlights of Old and New Delhi. (B)
This morning you’ll be flying to the holy city of Varanasi for 2 nights at the Radisson Hotel. In the evening a traditional Aarti ceremony will take place at the Varanasi Ghats (steps leading to the river). (B)

Morning and afternoon game drives. As well as the elusive tiger, you will have a good chance of seeing sambar, chital and nilgai. The occasional gazelle – the chinkara can be seen, as well as the Indian hare, mongoose and monitor lizards. Take a walking tour of the beautiful Rajasthani city of Udaipur, which is revered for its fabulous collection of palaces and lakes. (B)
Transfer to the airport for the return Jet Airways flight to Mumbai to connect with the Virgin Atlantic flight to London Heathrow, arriving this evening. (B)
